Former EXO members Tao and Luhan Pay Respect to SHINee's Jonghyun

K-pop boy band superstar, SHINee's JongHyun died on December 18. Following his death, celebrities and Korean idols pay their respects.

According to latest news, the former EXO member, a good friend and a junior of the deceased, Luhan will be flying to Korea on December 21 to personally pay his respect.

"I can't believe it. Rest in peace," Luhan wrote on Weibo. "You were the best vocal."

Tao, who is also a former EXO member and a junior of Jonghyun took to Instagram and post his lenthy tribute to his mentor and senior.

"I can't believe it... The first time I went to Korea, the weather was very cold then. The first time I went to a broadcast station, I heard the song 'Hot Times' for the first time. It left such a beautiful memory," the singer wrote.

"Because of that stage, that song, I wanted to so quickly go onto the stage myself and wanted to start practicing. Thank you for being my strength. Hyung, you were the first sunbaenim I've met in Korea. Right now my feelings are just... impossible to describe."

Kim Jonghyun, the main vocalist of the famous boy band SHINee was found dead on Monday evening. He was 27. He was found unconscious in an apartment in Seoul and was taken to the hospital but Yonhap reported that he never regained consciousness.

Local news media outlet reported that the Korean idol committed suicide and said that he died of carbon monoxide poisoning from heating up charcoal inside the apartment.

The police authorities stated that Jonghyun sent a text message to his sister which sounded like a suicide note, The message reads, "I've had a hard time. Please let me go and say that I did a good job. This is my last word."
