Lent has been known as an old religious observance when Christians prepare themselves to celebrate the Lord's resurrection at Easter, but it began to draw the attention of the church in China just more than ten years ago. During the past forty days of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, churches across China launched different kinds of activities such as daily devotionals, meditation, services, and charity to remember the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
