Brother Han, 29 years old, serves in a church in Shanghai as a full-time preacher. Before being evangelized, as an undergraduate who had no direction or goal, Han was stuck with studying, knowing nothing about his future. He lived so casually and dully that he was despised by his relatives. Although saying nothing about this, he was in great pain.

One day one upperclassman invited him to attend a Bible study. Han went there several times but he couldn't understand what they are talking and became more depressed. He wanted to quit while that upperclassman encouraged him to be patient and wait for God's work.

The first turning point of his life appeared one day when Han listened to the sermon, "The Parable of the Lost Son," which tells the unconditional love the heavenly Father has toward his lost son. Hearing this, Han burst into tears. At that moment, he felt he was the lost son described in the verse, living a wandering, reckless life filled with confusion, pain, pessimism, and despair. It had reached an unbearable point that not only his family and friends were disappointed with him but even he himself more than once wanted to give up.

Recognizing God’s loves to him, Han felt warmth in his heart, rest and being calm in God which he had never experienced before. Since then, he smiled a lot. The brothers and sisters near him witnessed the change, "It is good to believe in Jesus. The brother who looked pretty indifferent smiles now."

At Christmas of that year, Han grew in faith and converted to Christianity.

In 2011, God called Han to preach the Gospel in Hefei of Anhui Province. Although he had a short ministry experience in Henan, he had little faith in the future ministry. Kneeling down in front of God, Han confessed, "If this is your will, I will do it." Again hearing the call from God, he confirmed that it was God's will and then he set off.

In the new ministry, he met with continuous difficulties and obstacles to the point that even a co-worker brother left after only half a year. He was stuck with distress and troubles, doubting if he was standing in the right position. He came to ask God once again, confirmed God's leading and will, eventually, go through the storm by relying on God.

In 2015, Han got married with another preacher. "God not only heals my injuries and gives me my mission, also my family, through which I can see his deep mercy for sinners." He confessed.

Han said, "I believe in his foreknowledge and predestination and that He knows me before I knew him and He had predestined that I shall have eternal life. Actually I'm a man with many problems and I often feel worried and anxious. But now I believe that God has been leading me and has never left me."

His wife witnesses that "Brother Han fears God and humbles himself before God. He is easy-going, honest, kind, and serves God diligently. I can feel God's love through him in our family. I thank God for bringing this man to me on whom I see what the likeness of someone who really serves God humbly and gently should have."

A brother in his church shares, "Brother Han is an honest and kind man. He has a warm and kind heart.  He is a real man after God's own heart who knows God's will and calling. He is willing to surrender before God and to obey his teaching and leading. The sermons he preaches are very powerful and can make the weak become strong. Every time I listen to his sermon I can get a lot of grace."
