On July 3, over 70 people were baptized in Ji'an Gospel Church, Jiangxi.

Usually, it holds a baptism service once a year. It was also said that the church pastor went to seven different places including the homes for the aged and local churches to baptize the seekers for those who have mobility problems. Most of them are seniors from nursing homes and patients ill in bed.

According to CCC&TSPM, the church was founded sometime in the 1880s when the China Inland Mission founded by Hudson Taylor was sent to evangelize here. The mission bought lands to build three chapels and an annex building. Meanwhile, a girls' school and primary school were constructed close to these chapels.

Completed in 2007, the current church can hold more than 1000 people with a construction area of 1902 square meters and covers 2012 square meters.
