On August 6, 92 believers who passed the baptism test were baptized by being immersed in water in Zhutun Church, Zhengzhou, Henan.

All the baptism services in Henan took place in the church where there is a pool meant for baptism. Last year, a total of 122 catechumens received the sacrament of baptism.

According to Zhengzhou CCC, local believers started the construction of the church in 1996 and it opened that following July. The church has a main chapel and two side-chapels with a regular attendance of about 1500 people. It has four pastoral staff members, six other church administration committee members and more than 100 volunteers.

It holds services on Sundays, weekdays and holidays such as Christmas and Easter. The pastoral staff from Zhengzhou CCC&TSPM give sermons on Sundays in turns and the church's own staff are responsible for the senior gathering on Wednesdays, as well as the Bible study and youth gathering on Saturdays. Praise meetings and worship are conducted every Christmas and Easter.
