On August 19 and 20, Xigu Church was dedicated in Lanzhou, Gansu with more than 1300 people in attendance.

The construction spent three years and cost over 15 million yuan to complete.

A pastor of the church tells CCD that the two-day schedule consisted of a dedication ceremony, the worship by over ten choirs on the first day and a retreat on the second day.

He also gave a work report on the church construction and the provincial TSPM president addressed everyone during the dedication. Another pastor from Dalian gave a speech as the guest speaker.

The construction began in August 2013 and the main building was finished a year later. Due to insufficient funds, it took two years to complete the fit-out project.

The four-story church can accomodate over 2000 with a basement. It holds Sunday service, morning Bible study, reading the Bible gathering, prayer meeting and training for co-workers.
