On October 20, 2019, a Sunday worship service was held in the Shahe church of Anshan, Liaoning. Inside the 100-year-old Shahe church, the sanctuary was filled with vegetables, fruit, rice, flour, cooking oil, flowers, etc. placed in the front of the altar, which symbolized the autumn harvest.

At the front of the church, Wang Defa, elder of the Shahe Church, led the co-workers in welcoming the brothers and sisters who had come to celebrate the festival, and helped the elderly believers over 75 years of age to sit down at the front, pinned them with red flowers and gave them gifts.

Elder Wang Defa started the meeting at 8 o'clock in the morning. After the choir presented a hymn, Rev. Duan Fei dressed in a minister's robe preached from Scripture to the believers and prayed for them. The sermon's theme was "Harvesting" and included five points: "Don't lose opportunies", "Help with each other", "Work hard", "Be joyful", and "Don't forget to be thankful". After the sermon, Elder Wang Defa announced that the 2019 Autumn Thanksgiving activities in the Anshan Shahe Church would begin.

Brothers and sisters from various groups and gatherings in the church prepared many programs, thanking God for His grace during the year. The programs included hymns, dances, and choruses, etc., which they had rehearsed for about two or three months. Elder Wang Defa danced on stage twice with other co-workers, and the perfomers included both young believers and 85-year-old brothers.
