On January 9, 2020, more than 50 sanitation workers of China's southeastern Fujian Province were invited to attend an annual reunion dinner prepared by church volunteers.

According to Jinjiang "Live Out Love" Voluntary Service Corps, supported by Jinjiang Chendai Church of Quanzhou, the local volunteers' association hosted the activity.

The workers from Chendai Sijing Community, Pengtou Village, and Siban Village, enjoyed meals together with smiles on their faces, full of holiday atmosphere, to welcome the upcoming Chinese New Year.

Six days later, some members of the church joined a local newspaper and a public welfare to visit 14 left-behind elderly people, as well as poor and sick families. The disadvantaged people in a nearby mountainous area received clothes, grain, oil and shoes.
