Volunteers from churches in Siping, Jilin Province went to Tiedong, Tiexi, Shuangliao, Yitong, and other districts and counties to prevent pandemics, as all registered churches have been closed down due to COVID-19.

Anti-pandemic volunteers in Tiexi District went to Qiaoxi District, Dongmei Community, Quangou Village, Taipinggou Village, and Qinye Village, conducting outsider inspections, registration of nucleic acid tests, and visits to quarantine households before the Chinese Lunar New Year.

Volunteers from Caijia Town sent instant noodles, mineral water, and other foods to pandemic prevention staff.

Elder Cong Deqiang, chairman of the Yitong County Three-Self Patriotic Movement (TSPM) in Siping City, led the staff co-workers to present food and compensation to the needy families in low mountain-areas, with an expenditure of more than 5,000 yuan.

On January 23-24, the Yitong County TSPM also inspected the pandemic prevention and control of more than 60 gathering places in the county.
