A Liaoning church was open for nucleic acid testing to protect the community residents from the freezing temperatures.

From November 4, suffering a new wave of coronavirus pandemic, Dalian City launched a new round of COVID-19 nucleic acid tests, with all churches’ in-person gatherings suspended.

With heavy snowfall on November 8, pastoral workers and believers from Pulandian Church on Wenhua Road, Dalian, arrived at the church early. After the site arrangement and staffing in the morning, church staff engaged in the nucleic acid testing with the community medical staff, police, and volunteers at noon.

Till 8 p.m., more than 3,500 people were tested, and the tests were expected to be carried until November 9, the head of the church said.
