A Jiangsu church launched a collective memorial service in 2021 for 13 deceased believers.

During the service on November 10 in Gongxiang Church, Suzhou, Jiangsu, after the Senior Fellowship performed the hymn There Is a Happy Land, Gong Shiming gave a sermon titled Condolences and Hope, leading the congregation to know the true meaning behind the memorial and the hope in Christ.

The next part was to honor the departed. After a female believer surnamed Zhang gave brief eulogies in remembrance of the deceased Christians, the family members reflected on the lives of their relatives and the impact their belief had brought to themselves. Before her death, Jin Shuzhen, a female believer, asked her family a few years before her death to accompany her to go through the procedures of organ donation, donating her cornea to help others and the rest of her remains for medical research.

With a blessing from Rev. Yu Huawei, he wished these deceased a rest in eternity. The service ended with the hymn Threefold Amen.
