Zhongnan Theological Seminary Holds Sinicization of Christianity Symposium

On November 8, 2019, the "Symposium on the Sinicization of Christianity" was held in the new campus hall of Zhongnan Theological Seminary. All the faculty and students attended it.

Out of 116 papers collected within the provincial-level seminary, treatises written by six teachers and seven students were read, concerning church history, social ethics, Bible interpretation, and sacrificial culture.

The 13 papers covered themes such as a view of sinofication of Christianity from the perspective of a rural church's funeral ministry, the comparison of the relationships between parents and children in the eyes of the Analects and the Bible, and the philosophy of comity from Isaac's way of life, etc.

In the closing ceremony, some teachers and students were awarded prizes.

Zhongnan Theological Seminary, which is a national Christian theological seminary and has a four-year undergraduate program, opened on May 7, 1985. It is a theological institution that equips and nurtures pastors. It is located at 221 Minzhu Road, Wuchang District, Wuhan, Hubei Province. The seminary made it known that up to Dec. 1, in total,1568 students have graduated..
