New Shaanxi Church Dedicated

Baoji Shilipu Church of Shaanxi held dedication celebrations from April 20-22, 2018, attended by about 1,500 people including local church leaders and officials.
Rev. Wang Binghui, chairman of the Baoji TSPM, presided over the dedication service. He said that Shilipu Church has been enlarged and renovated three times. Originally constructed in 1990, the first church covered 165 square meters (0.04 acres). There were 527 believers. Eight years later, it was enlarged. In 2004, it was reconstructed and the congregation rose to 1,840. Then the renovation work was started in 2015 and completed in May 2017.
With a seating capacity of more than 1,500, the current church has a floor space of 3,500 square meters (0.86 acres). There are 2,140 registered baptized believers.
Art programs like dances and hymns were performed and sermons were given on the last two days.
