Singapore Church Delegation Visits China

In late February, a nine-person delegation from the Singapore church paid a visit to China. 

According to the Amity Printing Company, the world's largest Bible printing factory, the team included Bishop Terry Kee Buck Hwa, president of the National Council of Churches of Singapore, leaders from key Christian churches and organizations such as the Bible Society of Singapore and "Love Singapore" campaign.

According to the official website of the China Christian Council (CCC) & Three-Self Patriotic Movement (TSPM), on Feb. 22, the visitors met the leadership of the CCC headquartered in Shanghai,. According to Amity Press, the next day they visited the Nanjing Amity Printing Company. While at the production plant, they watched the entire Bible printing process. 

Bishop Terry Kee Buck Hwa said that the group was moved by this and they prayed that the Bible printing ministry would spread the word of God to more countries across the globe. 

According to the Nanjing Union Theological Seminary, China's national seminary, the visiting delegation attended its Sunday service held there on Feb. 24.

Bishop Terry Kee preached the message entitled "Thoughts God Thinks toward Us" and exhorted the congregation to pray for their country and nationalities. 

After the sermon, the two sides exchanged gifts.  

A six-person delegation from the CCC&TSPM had paid a visit to Malaysia and Singapore in July of 2017 upon invitation by the Malaysian Bible Society and the Chinese Church Committee of the National Council of Churches of Singapore.
