Attractions highlight China's Culture and History

China is a product of culture, tradition and history. These made the country more interesting to visit as it offers variety of places which highlights history, culture and tradition.

There are most and best places to visit when in China. Here are the four of them.

"Great Wall of China"

China is famous for its Great Wall. This attraction is number one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. These great walls were built 220–206 bce by Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China in order to protect the country from Mongolian army’s invasion. The wall spans from China’s western frontier to the east coast, totaling around 5,000 km (3,100 miles).

"Terracotta Army in Xi'an" 

For more than 2,000 years, the Terracotta Army has been underground not until farmers uncovered it through a well. In the year 1987, it became part of World Cultural Heritage.

These human-size model proof that Terracotta armies triumphed over all other Chinese armies during the Warring States Period between 475-221 BC.

"Forbidden City in Beijing"

It was once a palace city where an ordinary person was not allowed to enter. This attraction demonstrate great China architecture with over 8,000 rooms with roofs that are golden which is elegantly painted and designed in yellow in red. 

This palace was once home to 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties for 560 years until 1911. Chinese now called this as Palace Museum as it is a house for Chinese cultural and historical treasures. 

"Li River in Guilin"

Li River is a natural scenery destination with it runs with a distance between Guilin and Yangshuo.  This is one of the destinations wherein painters and artists go to just to capture it through their arts. The landscape is decorated with steep cliffs, hills, farming villages and with bamboo groves along with it. 

The Li Rivers is listed in the “World’s Top Ten Watery Wonders” by America’s National Geographic Magazine. 

You are not considered someone who already traveled to China without visiting  these beautiful places or at least have a remembrance photo of these attractions.
