Xuzhou Gulou District Christianity Carries Out Double Ninth Festival “Honor the Elderly” Activity

On Oct. 18, upon the arrival of Double Ninth Festival, Xuzhou Gulou District Christianity held "Double Ninth Honor the Elderly" activity. 290 elderly people over 80 and more than 100 believer representatives attended it.
The pastors and believer representatives in Gulou district put flowers on 290 elderly people and sent them presents, which worth 7500 yuan, wishing them healthy bodies and happy life.
During the Double Ninth Festival, the Christian volunteers united community volunteers to carry out visits, including making meals, providing haircut, doing cleaning work for solitude seniors and elderly people without family, sending them festival greetings and blessings.
