On March 28, 2016, the New Testament class of Yanjing Theological Seminary begins its journey to Italy and Greece, following the footprint of the saints.

Led by Rev. Gao Ying, the president of the seminary, twenty members travel to the holy church sites in the New Testament Era, including Venice, Florence, Philippi, Macedonia, Thessalonica and Athens.

The official website of the seminary introduces that the studying trip starts after two-year arrangement.

During the Europe journey, the teachers adopt the form of teaching while travelling. 

The seminary students visit famous historic churches in local holy cities and teachers share the faithful stories of the local predecessors recorded in the Bible.

Currently the class have visited churches and monasteries including Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Flower, the Papal Basilica of St. Peter in the Vatican, St Paul's Cathedral until April 5.
