Ex-Deputy Secretary of TSPM Dies at 59

The former deputy secretary of TSPM and former editor-in-chief of the protestant magazine Heavenly Wind Rev. Mei Kangjun has passed away on May 27 at the age of 59 in Shanghai due to liver cancer.
Rev. Mei was born on October 1956 and he majored in four fields: journalism, law, history of international relations and pastoral ministry. He was previously a senior pastor in Taopu Church, a member of the Shanghai YMCA council, and the deputy president of Shanghai Christian Council. He also wrote books such as Chinese Christianity and Surpass Yourself.
The memorial service for Rev. Mei was held on May 31 in Shanghai Pu'an Church.
