'Hwarang: The Beginning' Premiere Announced After Finishing Filming

KBS2's gearing up for its incoming drama 'Hwarang: The Beginning' according to one source, saying that the drama has been 100% pre-produced and its filming has just finished. The source said that the actors had found it difficult to film due to the hot summer weather but they have been able to succeed.
The source also said that although South Korea and China are currently on rough waters due to the THAAD issue, the drama will be able to broadcast in China without any problems. The source said "We plan on going to China this month to discuss broadcasting. The drama will air in December as planned. We are looking at December 19 as the tentative date for the premiere."
'Hwarang: The Beginning' focuses on the story of the Hwarang's passion, love and growth in the capital of Shilla 1,500 years ago. Some of the notable cast included in the drama are Park Seo Joon, Go Ara, Park Hyung Sik, SHINee's Minho and BTS's V/ Kim Taehyung.
