YG Entertainment's cosmetic division, 'moonshot', released an advisory to all their fans in China regarding the reported fake versions of G-Dragon's perfume 'GD Eau De Toilette.'

The perfume was launched in June 2015 and was a certified hit for fans, especially in China. However, given its popularity, fake versions have also been done and continously deceiving fans and customers.

In response to the fakes, 'moonshot' released a warning in their official site and showed a photo comparison of both the fake and original 'GD Eau De Toilette.'

The fake version of the perfume has a yellowy color and the scent changes to a sour odor the longer it is on a person. The product descriptions are also filled with typos in the fake version and it also does not have the original brand mark on the top of the box. The interior of the perfume cap also differs with the original as the fake has a lot of multiple rings on the surface.

'moonshot' also said, "Being a cosmetic product that comes in contact with one's skin, there can be severe side effects when cheap ingredients are used. The recently implemented warning differentiating the original from the fake should serve as an effective aid for customers."
