On Dec 10, Chating Gan'en Church in Wangcheng District, Changsha, Hunan Province, hosted its dedication ceremony. There were four sections to the ceremony: thanksgiving worship, dedication ceremony, choir exchange, and various performances.
During the choir exchange, various choirs from Changsha dedicated hymns, such as Central Christian Church of Wangcheng District, Changsha Beizhengjie Church, Changsha Chengnan Church or Changsha South Church, and Yuxuan Church of Hunan Bible Institute. There were snare drum performances, dances, fitness dancing with Christian songs, solo singing, clapper talk, erhu ensemble, poem recitation with music, crosstalk, and more.
According to the church, there are nearly 200 believers in the five-story church. The first through fourth stories are for supporting the church as a nursing center, and the fifth floor is for gathering revenue. The construction area is more than 2,000 square meters. The total cost was nearly six million with 2.05 million in loans.
