On Dec 31, 2016, Xikou Christian Church of Fenghua District, Ningbo, Zhejiang, hosted a grand dedication ceremony and thanksgiving service for the new church. Persons in charge of CCC&TSPM at all levels, pastoral workers of local churches, and brothers and sisters, totaling over 1,000 people, witnessed the event.

Pastor Shan Weiyang, vice chairman of China Christian Council, chairman of Zhejiang Christian Council, and chairman of Ningbo Three-Self Patriotic Movement Committee, gave a sermon and shared from the Word of God. Pastor Shan, Pastor Gao Jianwei, chairman of Ningbo Christian Council, Pastor Zhang Xiaofa, chairman of Hangzhou Christian Council, and others also gave congratulatory addresses. Pastor Fan Aishi, over 100 years old, was also at the ceremony and shared his predestined love with Xikou Church. He also shared his amazing testimony.

The first building of Xikou Church dated back to the early days of the Republic of China. After the liberation, the church moved several times and has grown gradually. The number of believers has also grown from dozens of people to hundreds. With the expansion of urbanization, the old church could no longer meet the development of urbanization or the spiritual needs of the congregation. After coordinating with many parties, the site of the new church was finally chosen in Shanxi, an amazing place with a mountain and river. The new church is in the style of the Republic of China. The church covers an area of 10 mu (6,666 square meters) and the main building area is 3,000 square meters. The cost for the church is over 12 million and it can hold thousands of people for services.

The new church also held revival meetings on the three days following the ceremony.
