Largest-ever Scale, New Deacons and Preachers Ordained in Inner Mongolia

On Jan 5, 2017, CCC&TSPM of Donghe District, Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, held the worship service for preachers and deacons ordination. 12 preachers and 134 deacons in total were newly ordained.
"This clergyman ordination is out of the practical need to the development of the church. Speaking of numbers and scope of radiance, this is by far the largest ordination in Inner Mongolia," said Pastor Wang Xiaozhen, director of CCC&TSPM of Donghe District, who presided over the service.
On Dec 18, 2016, CCC&TSPM of Baotou held the anointment ceremony in Ximen Christian Church of Donghe District where 44 fellow workers from different districts of Baotou were ordained as pastors.
According to CCC&TSPM of Inner Mongolia, the preparation of the clergyman ordination of Baotou began in early 2016 when the local CCC&TSPM held the standing committee meeting. Working scope and objects of the ordination were set at the meeting, as well as a sound evaluation system. After selecting the loyal people who love God, fellow workers of different churches performed preliminary assessments of the applicants. The application period finished in June. CCC&TSPM of Donghe District performed in-depth assessments of various churches.
