Chinese Prefers Japanese Movies and TV Shows over Korean Hallyu?

Chinese audiences prefer Japanese movies and television shows and starting to replace their Korean Entertainment's devotion in the midst of rift between Beijing and Seoul.

The said trend is already noticeable since last year as plenty of Japanese movies earned a record of 800 miliion yuan second after American films.

With this, a report expected that the number of Japanese movies in Chinese theatres will double its digits this year.

It was also noted that concerts from different Korean pop artists and celebrities are limited to non after the two government have feud over the U.S. Terminal High-Altitude Area Defense.

Japanese movie "Your Name" was also noted to be increasingly famous in China compared to other movies from Korea. Moreover, the Japanese singer Redwimps, who sang the official soundtrack of the song is currently touring China. Furthermore, a couple of projects in China are reportedly to remake some Japanese films.
