Christian Korean Pop Singer Rain Weds Kim Tae Hee at a Catholic Church in Seoul
The world has been shocked for the news of sudden marriage between the Jung Ji Hoon, most commonly known as Rain in entertainment industry, and actress Kim Tae Hee.
Not too long ago, Rain and Kim Tae Hee has been surrounded with marriage rumors in which the couple denied multiple times.
However on January 17, the 34-year-old famous singer announced through a handwritten letter in his Instagram post his engagement with the beautiful actress.
"I am going to be a good husband and a faithful man of the family," he said in a handwritten letter. "She has always been beside me through both hard and good times and showed affection in many ways."
However, the date and venue of the wedding was not announced by Rain as he reportedly wanted to keep it holy and quiet.
Kim Tae Hee's agency also confirmed the marriage, saying "They will hold a small but meaningful wedding where only their parents and other family members are to be invited, but have no specific plan for a honeymoon after the ceremony, yet."
And on January 19, the couple has reportedly tied the knot in a Catholic church, Gadoe-dong cathedral in Jongjo, Seoul with their close friends and relatives only. After the ceremony, the two famous stars headed to Bali, Indonesia for their honeymoon.
Kim Tae Hee also released her own handwritten letter for the fans:
"Hello. It's Kim Tae Hee.
First, many just congratulated me and showed me support despite the short notice, and I'm sincerely thankful.
Today, the first day of this very long journey of us, I take my first steps under the blessing of all the fans who loved and supported us since the beginning.
We will live by mutual respect and fulfillment.
I learned from your loving self and you all helped me becoming the wife that I will be. I will also come back to you as an improved actress.
I will also live to become the existence, the strength on which my partner can rely.
Be careful not to catch a cold and stay healthy. I will pray for you all to have a year filled with laughter.
Once again, thank you to each of you. "
