Shanghai Agape Foundation Cares Elderly People

On February 8, Shanghai Agape Foundation and Rev. Shen Xuebin, president of Shanghai TSPM, visited Shanghai Enguang-Home for the Aged, bringing food and blessings to the seniors. 

Initiated by Shanghai CCC & TSPM in 1999, the home provides integrated service including daily nursing, rehabilitation nursing, spiritual consolation and hospice care. Seated beside Gospel Church located in Minhang District,  it serves 115 elderly people with an occupancy level of 100%.

According to Shanghai Christianity, Rev. Shen paid a visit to the retired pastors and other seniors living in the home as well as the staff members.Sun Huiqin, acting president of the home, stated that the home would strengthen the construction and scientific management of the nursing home for high-quality socialized senior service.Rev. Shen claimed that Shanghai CCC & TSPM and the foundation would give constant concern and support to the development of the home. 

The foundation was initiated in Feb 2015, directed by Elder Chen Zhimin, associate president and secretary of Shanghai Christian Council. In 2015, it donated 100,000 yuan to the nursing home.
