According to the WeChat account of Haikou Fucheng Church, the Hong Kong Chinese Oratorio Society, a non-denominational Christian chorus initiated in 1999, will hold three sacred music concerts in the church of Haikou, Hainan, from April 29 to 30, 2017.

Comprising of more than 60 members, the society is mainly committed to performing sacred music created by Chinese composers and hymns translated into Chinese.

The performance will include grand vocal cycles, mixed singing in four voices, male group singing, bel canto solos, English and Latin hymns.

Stressing the spiritual growth of its members and fellowship that advocates mutual help and encouragement, the society has engaged in regular chorus performance and sacred music worship across China and Singapore.
