House Church Pastor: God Uses the Imperfect For His Plans

A imperfect leaf of a red maple (

But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.  (2 Corinthians 12:9)

Rev. Li Xuzhao from a church in Beijing claims that God uses imperfect people for His plans on the church's official WeChat account.

God's work is on men's weakness

Rev. Li states that we, the masterpieces of God, begin the new creation in Jesus Christ and continue to grow. So Christians should say goodbye to their past setbacks and failure and instead, draw near to the glorious future. It's like the cross recorded in the Bible, which represents humiliation and sufferings, yet it implies the moment of the glorification of the son of Man. God, the ruler of heaven and earth, who is more precious than the splendor of all the kingdoms of the world and money, will support you more. You should be more convinced that God will never reject you.

Li claims that Christians should see the world with the eyes of God. Everything, including us, is the work of God. Though we desire to leave sins, God will never remove some of our weaknesses, because He wants to fulfill His great plan through men's weaknesses and shortcomings, who turns decay into miracles.

Live at peace with the one's imperfect self and receive the calling

He said, "The problems the cross solves includes improving the relationship with ourselves." Don't condemn yourself. Instead, view yourself in light of development." He gave one example and said that Jesus didn't choose the best people and the great figures in the Old Testament were imperfect.

Therefore, Christians should fight back for God, receiving favors from God. People create frames and boundaries for themselves, but God doesn't do that. "We need to break through ourselves and experience things we have never had. In that way, we will know God deeper. We should inspire our potential, become witnesses of the times and great people who will change the world."

He concluded that God doesn't choose people because of one's perfection, He chose people for the imperfections.
