Shishi Church donated a fund of 30,000 yuan to a local society for the aged

On June 9, 2017, Shishi Church of Fujian donated a fund of 30,000 yuan to a local regional society for the elderly to help them purchase teaching equipment. Meanwhile, Cai Zili, the church elder, was elected president of the society.

The donation was to support the development of the society's school which often shares the message of health care,  fundamental legal knowledge, and standards of civilization with the members. The school is also committed to promoting changes in prevailing habits and customs of civilized funeral and interment.

In addition to this, the church visits the society every Double Ninth Festival, a traditional Chinese holiday for seniors.
