So, what is hope?

A lot of people come to the conclusion that 'Hope' is just a four letter word that means something and oftentimes, doesn't help anyone.

But in another people's perspective, Hope is not just a four letter word.  It is not just the H and the O, the P and the E.  It plays a very important role in someone's life.  For some people, Hope, is like the air the we breathe, the water we drink, that glimmer of light on a cloudy day-a silver lining, a second chance, or life itself.

Hope gives you different possibilities and it gives you something to hold on when you're hanging by a thread.

In the book called '13-reasons why' written by Jay Asher, the protagonist - Hannah Baker - committed suicide because she lost hope in everything she believed in.

Hope was taken away from her by the people who bullied her, abused her, people who couldn't step up when she needed a friend.

That is how important hope is, it's a game changer. It's a three-point shot of a basketball player when their opponent leads by two points. The time lest is just a matter of seconds.  That is hope.  When that athlete releases the ball into the air aiming, praying, hoping that it will get in, that is hope.

It gives you life and it also takes away life.

That is how strong it is: four letters, one word, game changer, life bringer. It weighs as much the the world to some people.

But as the Bible says, in Romans 15:13

"Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost."

If all your back-up plans fail, or if in general, all else fails, all you can do is to trust God and let everything flow into its proper course.

Just like the storm, no matter how hard you fight, it will do nothing. All you have to do and can do is to wait till that storm passes by.

Life in general is not a walk in the park. You can't just find hope lying on the ground or being sold in a store.

You can only find Hope in God if you allow Him to lead the way.  You'll be surprised what kind of hope you'll be getting.
