Pastors for the Deaf Visit Hefei Deaf Fellowship
By Deaf Fellowship of Hefei Shuangqi Church , June 20, 2017 23:06 PM
With the approach of the second anniversary of a deaf fellowship of Hefei Shuangqi Church, two pastors for the deaf from Yanji Seminary of the Deaf visited the fellowship on June 11, 2017.
Pastors Jin Shanzhong and Piao Shengmin preached two sermons with different themes that day in the fellowship's Sunday service. The two full-time pastors have served in the deaf ministry for more than twenty years, having cultivated pastors and preachers for the deaf all over China.
Both sides reached an agreement that the fellowship will unite with a deaf fellowship of Ma'anshan to serve the deaf of the province.
In addition, they visited elderly deaf people in the Anhui Province Library and shared the Gospel with them in sign language on June 8. Two days later, they introduced the vision of the deaf ministry in Anhui to Anhui Theological Seminary, hoping that the seminary could set up a training station to cultivate local preachers for deaf people to meet the increasing needs of deaf believers.
