By Josiah Li, June 27, 2017 02:06 AM
On June 14, 2017, Elder He Ronghai, a former member of the standing committee of the Liaoning CCC & TSPM and chairman of the Fushun TSPM of Liaoning, died of illness at the age of 95. His memorial service was conducted two days later.
Rev. Ma Youping, the current chairman of the Fushun TSPM, shared a brief biography of the elder in the service: he was born in Fushun in January 1924, baptized in 1941, and ordained as an elder in October 1993. He was a member and a standing committee member of the city's political advisory body, also serving as the elder and director of the administrative board of the local Zhonghelu Church.
