Trinity is something that all Christians believe; but, most often find it hard to fully understand and explain. Prayer is something that all Christians do but rarely practice with delight and consistency.

What do we mean about Trinity?

According to a pastor from Fulkerson Park Baptist Church in Michigan named Brian G. Hedges, Trinity means:

First, Christian means there is only one God. It is, according to Deuteronomy 6:4, which says, "Hear , O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one."

Second, the one God exists in three distinct personalities, or person which is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Third, The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are all equally fully and eternally God.

What does Trinity have to do with prayer?

Prayer is defined to be a communication between humans and God. But talking to the Creator requires access to His presence. According to Ephesians 2:18, it shows that we have access to God with the three persons of the Trinity."For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit."

How can you rescue your prayer life?

Some of us hesitate to pray because we do not believe. We are not sure that God really does care about our concerns. But we could be forgetting that we are praying to our Father, who already knows what our needs are.

Mos often, we feel obliged to pray because of a sense of duty. They say "Good Christians praye so if I want to become a good Christian, I must pray. But this kind of thinking neglects the work of the Son to reconcile us with the Father.

We need to remember that our access to God is through prayer with Christ alone. This will help us to be forgiven for our sins.
