The church staff aided nine financially disadvantaged people (Dongfeng Church )

On August 18, 2017, Dongfeng Church in Dongfeng County, Liaoyuan, Jilin, carried out the third quarter's poverty relief for nine financially disadvantaged locals. Meanwhile, they took 3,460 RMB, over 500 pieces of clothing, food, and basic goods to the people.

In early 2017, the aided targets were verified by the church as a vulnerable group who urgently needed poverty alleviation.

The church staff asked about their health conditions and brought comfort and exhortation. They were given financial support, articles for daily use, or books and gospel media players, based on their personal needs.

The church stated, "The Lord tells us: 'whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.' (Matthew 25:40)"
