Gigi Hadid was told she is not welcome in China after her alleged racist Buddha Instagram post. The supermodel was accused of mocking the Asians in a video posted by her sister, Bella Hadid.

According to a report, Gigi Hadid was warned to not participate in the Shanghai's "Victoria's Secret Show 2017" because of the video posted on Instagram.

On August 28, Hadid revealed that she will be returning to the annual catwalk. The 22-year-old supermodel and girlfriend of Zayn Malik announced her return with a black and white video of herself wearing lingerie and angel wings and captioned her post with: "Forever and ever and ever a dream come true to be asked back to the VS Show!!"

However, critics told her that they do not welcome her return to the show. This is after the a video of Gigi was posted by her sister Bella in which she was seen squinting her eyes as she held up a Buddha cookie and impersonated the face.

Netizens were quick to comment on the supermodel's attitude and expressed their anger over her racist video.

"We like some people who respects us, not you. What you have done made us unhappy. And Chinese do not welcome you. So don't come to China (sic)," a user allegedly commented.

"As a Chinese, we don't welcome racist to China," another user posted.

One user also said that he let the authorities know about this issue and make sure Gigi can't enter the country saying, "I have reported to the Chinese government, and I hope you can't come to China."

For now, Gigi Hadid has not yet released any comments about the issue.
