Gansu CCC&TSPM Discusses Sinicization of Christianity

The clerical staff of the Gansu CCC&TSPM attended a symposium on the Sinicization of Christianity held by the provincial CCC&TSPM at its office on August 21, 2017.
Rev. Kou Xiaodong, chairman of the Gansu TSPM, Elder Mu Ganglang, president of the Gansu CCC, and two university professors participated in the discussion.
The attendants discussed who should consider the Sinicization of Christianity, the immutability of faith. the linking point of faith and culture, as well as concerns on nationalizing Christianity.
Professor Li Yuehong from Yunnan Minzu University then interpreted the concept of sinicizing Christianity and its features.
