BTS Earns World Record and Released New Comeback Teasers

A few days ago, the Guinness Book of World Records 2018 was released, citing all the great records that were made over the years. For K-pop fans, the 2018 edition of the book was special as known K-Pop group BTS is in the list.

Also known to their fans as the Bangtan Boys and Beyond The Scene, BTS have managed to get their name into the "Twitter Engagements" section of the record book, scoring the record for the most Twitter retweets for a male music group with a total number of 152,112 retweets.

To add to that, these numbers were accurate as of May 8, 2017 and according to Guinness, the number of tweets with regards to BTS has also gotten higher.

Needless to say, many ARMYs were stoked to see BTS make it into the Guinness Book of World Records 2018.

Meanwhile, following the news of their Guinness feature, BTS has another treat for their fans as their record label, Big Hit Entertainment, released the teaser music video for one of the songs included into their upcoming LOVE YOURSELF 承 album.

With only two weeks left before BTS releases their upcoming album, 'Love Yourself: Her', the K-pop group dropped a lengthy comeback trailer earlier Monday (Sept. 4) featuring one of their member's, Jimin.

The music video, entitled "Serendipity" is a short two-and-a-half minute-long music video focusing on the BTS member as he sings a contemplative alternative R&B love songs amidst a variety of light and airy sets. The song contained lyrics written by Rap Monster and has gained 5.2 million views within 24 hours after its initial upload.

According to BTS' representatives, Jimin's trailer will be the only solo for Love Yourself. His video is similar to those done by Rap Monster, Suga, and J-Hope, who were featured in their comeback trailers for previous albums.

Since the announcement for their comeback album "Love Yourself", the project has been gaining popularity over the past months.  The "Love Yourself" project consists of highlight reels which shows each member portraying a different story.

BTS has ALSO released a variety of videos and images relating to the album's thematic content.
