Famous Taiwanese girl group S.H.E celebrated their 16 years as a group in showbiz industry on September 11 with an intimate event with their fans.

The members; consist of Selena Jen, Hebe Tien and Ella Chen, had consecutive events prepared for the last seven days before the day of their anniversary. On the day of their celebration, the three members held a Facebook live broadcast and announced to their fans that they will be giving an engraved cassette to their fans for supporting them from the start of their career.

Last year, they celebrated their 15th anniversary in an elaborate celebration where the members rode in on a sports car for their fan meeting. But for this year, S.H.E opted to conduct a more intimate and quieter celebration and released seven videos over seven days for their fans at exactly 9:11 p.m.

The first six released videos were teaser videos, while the last one was a live stream of their anniversary celebrations. Ella expressed that "one should live a fulfilling life on Earth" while Hebe was moved to tears by the support received throughout the years and said that "she was not good at handling at emotions."

During their live broadcast, the trio sung their classic hit song "Genesis" which left Ella and Selina in tears. They also requested their fans to sing them "Happy birthday" while they were cutting the cake. They also performed the "Wife" song towards the end of the broadcast.

It can be recalled that S.H.E released their debut album titled "Girl's Dorm" on September 11, 2001.
