The Shishi CCC&TSPM in Fujian contributed 100,000 yuan to the construction of a multi-media interactive reading room in a local primary school. On September 18, 2017, the plate awarding ceremony for the room was conducted.
The director of the local bureau of ethnic and religious affairs presided over the ceremony.
Cai Zili, president of the Shishi TSPM, stated that the contribution was a response to the "religious charity week" campaign originally launched by SARA (China's State Administration of Religious Affairs) in September 2012.The city-level CCC&TSPM has donated funds to establish four interactive reading rooms four years in a row.
