Sandra Ng is known as one of Hong Kong's finest comediennes and actresses, but it seems she is now exploring more of the entertainment industry's fields as she announced on October 10 that she will be starting her career as a director.
The acclaimed actress, alongside her partner and Hong Kong filmmaker Peter Chan, spoke about the details of her debut film, 'Yao Yao Ling' or The Monsters' Bell, in Beijing this week.
The movie is set to be released on December 29 set in one of the rundown buildings in the city's downtown area. The story would then focus on the series of odd occurrences happening in the building. The film stars comedian Shen Teng.
Chinese comedy troupe Mahua FunAge was cited as one of the financers of the incoming film.
