BTS will be staging their first ever TV performance in the United States at the 2017 American Music Awards. The ceremony will be held on November 19, and will be aired at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.

The group will be performing their latest hit "DNA" from their newest album Love yourself: Her. Furthermore, following the announcement of BTS performing in the AMAs, news regarding their votes in the on-going MAMA voting polls have sent the fans into a fit of rage.

On November 3, 2017, the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) has frozen its voting process in light of alleged voter fraud.

The year-end award show halted fan voting temporarily on Friday (Nov. 3) and did a full system check after detecting improper votes that were submitted between Oct. 26 and Nov. 1, according to Mnet.

"We inspected fraudulent voting actions and decided to eliminate ALL illegal votes that have occurred until now during today's regular checkup (November 3rd 4:00-8:00(KST))," a rep from Mnet's parent company CJ E&M told Billboard in a statement.

However, the BTS ARMY are not impressed to the sudden decision of halting the voting for the upcoming awards show.

Millions of fake votes were removed from the system, with nominees in several categories swapping places, and in some cases, losing the No.1 spot.

Arguably the most notable major place changes took place in the "Best Boy Group," "Best Music Video," "Song of the Year," and "Artist of the Year" categories. In all four categories, BTS were originally at No.1 ahead of EXO, but Mnet's vote clean-up saw hundreds of thousands of fake votes be deleted, and this has resulted in EXO overtaking BTS for the top spot in each category.

Thus, making fans think that something fishy is going on, however, there are still a few weeks left before the awards show and a lot of fans still have time to vote for their favorite artist.
