The K-pop boy band has been confirmed to perform on The Ellen DeGeneres show - a gig that was rumored a long time ago.

Their appearance in the top talk show is scheduled on November 21, 2017. On the other hand, the guesting comes just two days after they make their debut U.S. TV performance on the 2017 American Music Awards (AMA) on November 19, 2017.

Right after the announcement of their performance in the AMAs, tickets have already run out on ticketing site 1iota, which states that the performance will take place in Los Angeles on the 15th of November at the show's outdoor stage.

However, this isn't the first time that a late-night host highlighted K-pop acts. In 2012, Girls' Generation made their U.S. debut on The Late Show with David Letterman, performing "The Boys." Psy, a fluent English speaker, also made the rounds on American talk shows to promote his single with Snoop Dogg, "Hangover," which peaked at No. 26 on the Billboard Hot 100.

In addition to that, just last year, Conan O'Brien teamed up with Korean-American actor Steven Yeun (Known for his role in hit AMC series The Walking Dead) for a special "Conan in Korea" episode, which culminated in a psychedelic collaboration with JYP Entertainment head Park Jin-young, posted on Team Coco's YouTube channel. The music video featured familiar faces within the K-pop sphere, including Twice, Wonder Girls and cardboard cutouts of GOT7.
