Sequel to Chinese Drama 'Nirvana in Fire' Aired This Week

The sequel to the 2015 Chinese hit TV series 'Nirvana in Fire' aired on Monday on Beijing Satellite TV became a certified hit as the series earned huge support from the People.
The series airs every Monday to Wednesday and focuses on the story of an orphan prince who was rescued by the strategist after the prince's family was killed.
The 2015 series earned 9.1 points out of 10 in Chinese review site Douban.com, making it one of the country's highest ranking television dramas for the year. It focused on the story of a strategist who was out for revenge. The series also became popular in South Korea, Cambodia and Thailand.
The new series will comprise 50 episodes and reportedly revamped under the direction of Kong Sheng and Li Xue. The script was also done by Hai Yan, who was in charge of the 2015 series' script.
The prince is played by Sun Chun.
