On October 14, 2018, the Shenyang Wanfang Church of Liaoning for the deaf held a grateful service to mark its 20th anniversary with hymns singing, dances, and biblical plays. About 300 hearing-impaired believers and normal people attended it.

The history of the church goes back to 1998, when Ming Dasheng, who was a seminary student then, shared the Bible to some deaf believers upon their request. Later on, it finally had its own gathering place after five relocations. The new church has been renovated three times. It hosts sports meetings, outdoor activities, camps, and training programs. It also helps surrounding churches found fellowships for the deaf.

Currently, there are over 100 believers in Wanfang Church. Fellowships for the deaf have also been set up in the churches of the ten districts of Shenyang.
