On February 20, 2020, Hubei Christian Council & Three-Self Patriotic Movement (CC&TSPM) released a thanksgiving letter to all the other churches in China.

The organizations, which run as a fellowship for state-approved Protestant churches in Hubei, said that as of Wednesday, all the funds donated from the churches to the Red Cross Society and charity institutes amounted to more than 10 million yuan. The coronavirus epidemic supplies were also sent to the frontline, including face masks, protective suits, goggles, and alcohol.

The local churches in Hubei whose capital Wuhan is the epicenter raised funds of more than one million yuan.

As there is still shortage of supplies, the Hubei CC&TSPM and Zhongnan Theological Seminary would like to serve as transit stations for the relief goods.

On behalf of the Christians in the province, Hubei CC&TSPM expressed its respect and sincere gratitude to other churches in China.

It stated, "Thanks for your blessings and prayers with tears on your knees before God the heavenly father. Thanks for your warm condolences via calls and letters. Thanks for your selfless donations."

Meanwhile, the provincial-level organizations revealed that some Christians were affected and pledged for healing prayers.
