It's never too late for Qiao Dewei, 84, to say "I love you" to his wife even after they have been together 67 years.
On Valentine's day, Qioa Dewei showed his love for his wife Liu Shixiu, 83 years-old by lighting on the side of a hotel spelled "I (heart) U". Qiao let her wife wear a wedding dress and donned himself a suit, a chance they never get to do for 67 years.
Zhang, Qiao's grandson was the one who rented all the rooms on the side of the hotel to make his grandpa's idea a success.
"My grandpa's idea was very simple, he only nated grandma to wear a wedding gown once in her life and to say "I love you" face to face" zhang stated.
Even with Liu's health condition she still manage to hold her beautiful bouquet of flower while sitting on a wheelchair. Qiao give her wife a kiss on the cheek and tell her "I love you".
"We've been married for 67 years" said Qiao.
"We've goon through countless frustrations and difficulties, but we've stood by each other to this day. No matter how tough life got, we never had the slightest thought of divorce, he added.
It was reported that the two never says "I love you" to each other and never done any romantic too.
Qiao knows Lui's health has deteriorated so he wanted to express his love to her the best way he can.
