On August 9, Youzhou Church shared the testimony of Sister Teng who gave birth to a baby diagnosed with a severe congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation in its WeChat account.

Sister Teng is a Christian from Jishou, a county-level city of Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hunan Province.

During her pregnancy, several doctors suggested her to have the labor induced, claiming that the baby may not be able to take care of itself after birth. But, she insisted on keeping it because of her Christian faith and later, her daughter was healed marvelously.

In her 16 weeks pregnancy, the data showed that the fetus may suffer from the disease with its lung shaping like a honeycomb. What was worse, a big tumor grew in its liver.

Upon its birth, the doctor asked her to sign many documents that requested the couple's responsibility for any consequence that may happen under this situation. Meanwhile, rescue equipments were prepared for the birth.

Faced with too much pressure, the sister said that she must bear the baby without a thought of giving it up because she is a Christian.

After the birth, the baby was moved to a provincial hospital due to the incurability for the disease in the local hospiral. A new doctor suggested them to have an operation in Shanghai, fearing that it might be dangerous to cut the tumor near the baby's main artery.

At that moment, she was a mess but her husband remained steadfast, claiming to entrust their daughter to the Lord instead of leaving for Shanghai.

The whole family proceeded to fasting by skipping breakfast for 40 days and afterwards, kept the prayer for their ill daughter along with the prayer from other believers.

One year later, there was no big problem with their daughter's lungs though it hadn't developed fully as that of normal children. Moreover, the big tumor disappeared.
