Two-way trade, investment and personal exchanges are also very high between both countries and they have worked together to combat key problems such as climate change, improving negotiations on bilateral investment, and creating a mutual trust mechanism between their military.
Xi also remarked that they are also making good progress on the fight against cyber crimes, Ebola in Africa, and the comprehensive agreement on the Iranian nuclear issue.
"All these have showcased the strategic importance and global influence of Sino-US relations." said Xi.
Xi also added that both countries have carried out cooperaiton as noted under the G20 framework and they have maintained close coordination and communication for the G20 Hangzhou Summit preparations. He also remarked his appreciation for the US' cooperaiton and support in order to make the summit a success as it would sustain the global community's shared expectation to these talks and allow the US and China to fulfill their duties and responsibilities as the world's largest economies.
