A Chinese man who was captured as a suspect for killing a Korean woman tried to argue that he was being controlled by a chip.

"Someone inserted a chip in my head and controlled me,"the accused said to the police authority.

Jeju Seobu Police Station revealed on September 23, that the 60-year-old Chen, was the suspect for murdering a woman in her 60s at a Catholic church on Jeju Island.

"My animosity towards women was largely because my two ex-wives betrayed me. When I saw a woman praying, I committed the crime in impulse," Chen said on the first time he was arrested.

Reports claimed that Chen only testified there is a chip controlling his brain after he heard of the woman's death.

Police judge that the suspect's irrational testimony is his attempt to reduce his sentence and they will conduct more investigation to people around him.

Meanwhile, Chen's brother was reported to said, "[My brother] has never received psychological treatment nor taken any medications [for his mental health]," and a profiler revealed that Chen does "show signs of megalomania" but no signs of schizophrenia, AllKpop reported.
