China-US Ties Better after Xi Jinping and Donald Trump Talks?

Experts revealed that China and United States' relationship could improve. President Xi Jinping and Donald Trump's meeting is also believed to be providing positive outcomes.

The former United States ambassador to China said that the meeting gives hope for smoother China-US political and economic relations. It also establish personal relationship for both the countries which lessens differences.

"My guess is that they would both be trying for a positive outcome," Roy said.

Su Ge, president of the China Institute of International Studies has also believed that the two state heads will search for common interests in order to achieve bilateral ties.

"Setting the direction will be paramount to both the China-US relationship and peace, stability and development in the Asia-Pacific region," Su said.

The meeting of the two presidents has been schedules on Thursday and Friday at Palm Beach, South Florida.
